The percentage of uninsured children in Rhode Island is 6.4% compared with 11.0% in the U.S. RI leaders gathered to discuss trends in health insurance coverage among children and adults. Recent data on the uninsured from the U.S. Census Bureau and a new report by Rhode Island’s Office of the Health Insurance Commissioner which highlights a growing trend in the number of uninsured Rhode Islanders was highlighted.
